Corten Steel, also known as weathering steel, is high-strength low-alloy steel that has improved atmospheric corrosion resistance. The product is made with a proprietary alloying process that creates a protective oxide layer on the surface of the steel, which makes it highly resistant to corrosion and weathering also the products is commonly used in outdoor structures and buildings such as bridges, sculptures and facades, due to their unique weathering properties.
